Captain Sachs started his career as a maritime salvor specializing in recovering lost cargoes on shipwrecks primarily in the Indian Ocean. Some of these wrecks were historical. Working as “Honorary Associate for Maritime Archeology” to the East London Museum (South Africa), Captain Sachs discovered a number of old wrecks from which many valuable artifacts were recovered.
Captain Peter Sachs was invited by the Italian Trade Commission to attend the High Technology Conference in Bari Italy.
