Dedicated Marine Contracting Company
Alpha Anchor & Pile LTD, initially traded as the commercial diving enterprise, Alpha Maritime, commencing operations in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2004.
Captain Peter Sachs, owner and President takes up the story:
“We were designing and installing complex structures underwater when it dawned on me that if we could do this underwater why not on land?” From there Alpha Maritime morphed into Alpha Anchor & Pile LTD (AA&P) to become one of Canada’s most versatile marine contracting companies”
AA&P have pioneered a marine helical pile installation system that has many advantages. Apart from conventional gravity anchors, our helical anchors have load capabilities up to 100k Lbs. Whether its anchoring small mooring buoys, or large breakwaters we can do the job.
Captain Sachs started his career as a maritime salvor specializing in recovering lost cargoes on shipwrecks primarily in the Indian Ocean. Some of these wrecks were historical. Working as “Honorary Associate for Maritime Archeology” to the East London Museum (South Africa), Captain Sachs discovered a number of old wrecks from which many valuable artifacts were recovered.
Since our inception in 2011, Alpha Anchor & Pile Ltd has grown to be one of the most respected marine contractors in British Columbia. From Installing helical anchors and piles to salvaging sunken vessels, our crew goes above and beyond to deliver the best for our clients.
Our crew at Alpha Anchor & Pile Ltd are skilled and efficient in what they do. They undergo mandatory and regular training and are also equipped with state-of-the-art equipment that empowers them to provide high-quality marine services.
